Written Program

Hardline maintains a written information security program for consumer account, portal, payment, and dispute information.

Portal Access

Portal sign-in uses password authentication followed by an emailed one-time verification code before a session is created. Administrative access is restricted to authorized users.

Payments

Online card payments are handled by a payment processor. Hardline receives transaction status and limited payment metadata, but does not store full payment card numbers.

Safeguards

Hardline uses administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect consumer account information. Production traffic is protected by HTTPS, and access to consumer account information is limited to authorized users with a business need.

Sensitive account information is protected through application security controls, encryption where appropriate, access restrictions, activity records, and secure development practices.

Activity Records

The portal records security and servicing activity for authentication, account access, disputes, notices, payments, communication preferences, administrative servicing, and security review. These records support access review, dispute handling, and incident response.

Service Providers

Hardline uses service providers for hosting, backups, email, payment processing, support, and operations. Provider access is limited to the customer information needed for the service provided and is reviewed as part of the security program.
